Recorded 07/19/09: This video explains how I got free airline tickets. I guess the tickets aren’t totally free since you may have to inconvenience yourself in your travel plans, but you could still come out a winner if you play the situation right. I got an $800 voucher to give up my seat on a flight from Chicago ORD to Prague PRG in March 2006. The original ticket cost me $650, but the airlines gave me an $800 voucher to fly out the next day and they diverted me to connect in London LHR for a day before reaching my final destination in Prague PRG. They comped my hotel in Chicago ORD and in London LHR. In this video, I gave up my seat in Washington Dulles IAD to fly out an hour later for a round trip U.S. domestic ticket. I had to connect in Zurich ZHR and only arrived at my final destination in Geneva GVA two hours later. It was totally worth it. I was super jet lagged in this video. Travel light and you might get lucky too.
